Is this going to be your Event Awards year?
It's time to make resolutions for the year ahead so we're here to make sure you've got the Event Awards on your list for 2017.
If you've never entered before, let this be the year you discover just how easy it is to submit an entry. The entry process is entirely online and doesn't require any fancy formatting. The hard part is winning.
If you haven't entered in a few years, we've added and tweaked categories, levelled the playing field further for larger and smaller events, opened up the Achievement categories to Australians doing great work in the industry worldwide and ditched Supplementary Information, so all you need to do is complete your entry.
Hopefully you've heard we've moved the Awards Ceremony to September and to somewhere warmer - 2016 was our first year on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland and we're looking forward to sunny jaunts up there again this year and for our 10th anniversary in 2018.
We've also resurrected the Event Symposium and turned it into a yearly event. The theme this year will be Events, technology and the art of the unexpected. Registrations will be opening shortly and we'll provide all the necessary material to show the boss why you've really got to be there (or you, if you happen to be the boss).
In the meantime, this is what you need to know now for 2017:
|Entries open:||3 May 2017|
|Entries close:||17 July 2017|
|Finalists announced:||8 August 2017|
|Australian Event Awards Ceremony:||13 September 2017|
|Australian Event Symposium:||14 - 15 September 2017|
And before we go we'll just leave you with this little morsel of inspiration:
"Thank you so much for this Award.
It's such an honour to win this
among so many amazing nominations."
